I've been keeping things pretty simple when it comes to my meals. For months I've been enjoying my sprouted grains whole as cereals mixed with fresh and dried fruit. Bananas and raisins, or pears and dates or dried apricots as shown below. The possibilities are endless!
For savory meals, sprouted grains are delicious mixed with a pinch of sea salt and nut butter or some mashed avocado.
Simple. Easy. Nourishing. Just the way I like it.
But variety is good too.
I have always loved bread, and the other day I was craving something "bready." So I pulled out the blender and dehydrator and got to work on making me some bread!
My little one was at my side helping along, and we had lots of fun. Afterward he said to me, "Mommy, I'm so happy that you're going to have some bread to eat too!"
I had some sprouted teff that I was experimenting with, and some sprouted rye, so we used the two grains, but it works well with rye alone. Other sprouted grains to try are buckwheat, oats, kamut, etc.

What we did:
The results were well worth the effort. This morning I had some topped with a savory tumeric dressing.
And then for dinner, a few more slices topped with banana prune jam (banana and some leftover prune soak water). Delicious! I feel so nourished!!!

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Psalm 103:1-3
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
